The Dolls' Festival

色々な言語を学ぶ人たちが それぞれ日記書き 添削しあう助け合い精神のサイトなんですよ。
今日の私の日記をコピペしてみます～。（これは何箇所か添削をしてもらっての日記です（笑
On March 3rd, families with girls celebrate this festival,
wishing for them to grow up in good health.
三月三日は女の子のいる家庭で 娘の健やかな成長を願う 雛祭りの日です。
Here is a picture of our "Hina dolls."
They are on the shelf because of our small apartment.
It seems like they live in their own little apartment house.
これは我が家の雛人形です。
我が家が小さいために 棚に収まっております。
まるで お雛様のアパートみたいでしょ。
It is said that your daughter will get married late in the future if you don't put away the Hina dolls as soon as possible after the festival.
Of course, it's just a superstition.
ひな祭りが終わったら すぐ人形を片付けないと
娘が嫁に行くのが遅くなるといわれています。ただの迷信ですけどね。

That sounds like a really interesting tradition! I might try to mention it in Japanese class tomorrow. Maybe my teacher will be impressed at my knowledge :)
Your dolls look very cute! Reading all of these journal entries really makes me want to visit Japan that much more.
